Support
Connection issues are often temporary because volunteer VPN servers can go offline or become overloaded. Use the steps below before reporting a problem.
VPN will not connect
- Refresh the server list and select another server.
- Try a server with lower latency and a recent uptime value.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Confirm Android has granted VPN permission to P2P VPN.
- Temporarily disable another VPN, private DNS app, firewall, or network-filtering app that may conflict.
- Restart P2P VPN, then restart the phone if needed.
VPN appears connected but internet is unavailable
- Open P2P VPN and tap Disconnect.
- If the app cannot disconnect, open Android Settings → Network & internet → VPN.
- Select P2P VPN and disconnect the active VPN.
- Return to the app, refresh servers, and choose a different server.
- If necessary, enable airplane mode for 10 seconds, then disable it to reset connectivity.
Clear app data
Use this only when the app state appears corrupted or a previous connection remains stuck.
- Open Android Settings → Apps → P2P VPN.
- Choose Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear storage and reopen the app.
This removes local preferences and recent server information. It does not delete logs held independently by third-party VPN server operators.
Report a problem
Email contact@saidigitalops.com and include:
- P2P VPN app version;
- Android version and phone model;
- Approximate date and time of the problem;
- Selected server country or hostname, when available;
- Whether Wi-Fi or mobile data was used;
- Exact error message; and
- A screenshot with personal or sensitive information removed.
Privacy requests
P2P VPN has no user accounts. For questions about a backend request log or support email, contact us with the approximate date, time, and nature of the request. We may need additional information to locate and verify the record.
SaiDigitalOps cannot access or delete data held independently by VPN Gate or a volunteer server operator.
